It's Winter-sigh. Now it will be raining even more and we'll all get sick of wet feet (urghhh!) and being stuck inside. There are upsides, cos you can drink hot chocolate heaps without someone saying "hey, it's like 30 degrees Celsius out here and you're drinking hot chocolate?" Anyway, enough about what I do. Well, it's time to do the things you don't want to do when the weather is perfect for picnics. Tidy the house, go shopping for clothes and the new trend, colour code your wardrobe e.t.c. It's also a great time to catch up on craft projects you're always saying you'll get round to. I love scrap-booking, sewing and card making myself, so that's my pastime. snuggle up in bed and catch up on sleep. Read. And there will definitely be hot chocolate.
I find Winter is a great time to hang out with extended family and friends, and you can all sit round a bonfire and sing kumbaya. Seriously, chat to friends and organize a bonfire night, they are the best. Just make sure you supply marshmallows, otherwise there's no point in a bonfire. Invite everyone on your street and make your mark in the history of bonfire nights. Go on. Knock yourself out. Have fun stressing over it. Now forget the large scale bonfire night and put aside a small pocket of time to chat with family and catch up on hanging out together. You deserve it.
