A letter from the founder

Dear loyal follower of Cupcakes (Well, we hope you are),

I am just here to say that you can make progress on something if you put your mind to it.  You have to be passionate about what you are doing otherwise you might as well give up on it.  For example Cupcakes started when I decided to make a small magazine for my friends, print it out and give it to them.  It started with 4 copies for my best friends and my parents.  By the end of the year I had 15 'subscribers'.  I was using too much ink and paper, and our printer at home broke down multiple times.  I stopped writing Cupcakes and I guess I kind of forgot about it.  Later I realised I had to get back to it, because I just love writing things for other people to read and love.  Now it is a blog, so no more broken down printer.  My parents weren't impressed with that...  What I'm trying to say is, keep trying and it could turn out to be something that turns in to a career for you.

So keep doing what you love and read the articles on my blog (Because that's what you love, right?)
